Where did the idea come from ?
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...., I just skip to the point. I'm a Star Wars fan.
The idea came from me trying to combine two things that I feel most people can relate and feel for - FOODS & ANIMALS (PETS).

Let's start with the part of the food. Why did I chosen fries, sushi and kopi O to begin with ? Actually the fries and sushi part for me is kind of like western and eastern. Both things are from a different culture with no historical connection at all, yet people from both sides can relate to and even enjoy it until the point it becomes so normal in their life. Meanwhile, for the kopi O is plain simple, I choose it because I love the Kopitiam culture we have here. It is so unique and so a Malaysian thing that we all have done it before.

Moving on, among all the animals in the world which is about 1-2 million different kinds. Why I chosen cats as my main character ? It is because of it ...

She is one of the cats that always come when I shake my keys. She would always be there to welcome me (because I'm the one that feeds her). See, she is so cute !!!
The street that I live in now is packed with cats. Just walking down the street, you would see three to five cats, some would friendly meow at you but most would judge your life choices, so be prepared, it is just their opinion. There are also times where they would just start screaming at you for no reason.
What message did I want to convey ?
The idea of Catto is to just purely spark joy in people's lives, to bring smiles and happiness, to let people have something weird and funny to share with their beloved ones. I want something that people look at and would want to share with others, something which you would go near and look at, maybe even spark a smile on your face.

Catto is more than just another decoration on your shelf or table. It is something that is simple, it itself is meaningless but to the right person, it is as meaningful as a feeling that can't be described, a feeling of inner warmth.
A reminder of the simpler times in our life before the hectic life, where days become hours and minutes become seconds. Something that helps to comfort the ups and downs of every day.
